Where can I find my UBO?
When applying for a Bancontact Pro account, you must name the ultimate beneficial owners (UBOs) within your company.
You can find this information in the UBO register of the FPS Finance. Simply log in using your eID or itsme® and download an official extract.
UBO registration is mandatory for all companies (bv, nv, cv, vof, etc.), not-for-profit organisations, foundations and similar legal entities.
The UBO obligation does not apply to sole proprietorships or de facto associations. Listed companies are also exempt.
Important: each person listed in you company's UBO register, and who is authorised to sign according to the articles of association, must co-sign the application and the agreement.
