Are payments made with the Bancontact Pay app settled immediately?
The processing happens as follows:
- For the sender: the amount is debited from your account on the same day.
- For the recipient: depending on the banks involved, the funds will reach their account either the same day or the following business day.
Even if the actual bank transfer takes a short while, the payment confirmation is shown instantly in the app for both parties.
