Yes, but it all depends on the type of bank card.

• If you have a bank card with the contactless payment symbol:

To combat the misuse of your card, your bank will determine how many consecutive transactions you are allowed to perform without entering your PIN, within which period and for what amount. To reset the counter to zero, simply enter your PIN code during a transaction.

• If you have a bank card that does not have the contactless payment symbol:

You can only pay by Bancontact without a PIN code on terminals that are not fitted with a numeric keypad, such as car park payment machines and drinks dispensers. The maximum payment is for €50.
